 is for turkey on Thanksgiving Day,
H is for "Hurry, I'm hungry!" we say
A is for Auntie, she works and she mends,
N is for Native American friends.
K is for kitchen, the oven's on low,
S is for silverware, set in a row.
G is for Grandma, the one we love most,
I is for inside, where we're warm as toast.
V is for vegetables, eat them we try,
I is for icecream on top of the pie.
N is for never do we have enough dressing,
G is for Grandpa, who gives thanks for our blessings

The Turkey Shot Out of the Oven

The turkey shot out of the oven
and rocketed into the air,
it knocked every plate off the table
and partly demolished a chair.

It ricocheted into a corner
and burst with a deafening boom,
then splattered all over the kitchen,
completely obscuring the room.

It stuck to the walls and the windows,
it totally coated the floor,
there was turkey attached to the ceiling,
where there'd never been turkey before.

It blanketed every appliance,
It smeared every saucer and bowl,
there wasn't a way I could stop it,
that turkey was out of control.

I scraped and I scrubbed with displeasure,
and thought with chagrin as I mopped,
that I'd never again stuff a turkey
with popcorn that hadn't been popped

Hello everyone! Wow, yeah today is Friday! which is some celebrating day for me.. I finally got my car washed and cleaned.. It needed it .. it was hungry and thirsty.. lol.. well tonight i am going to solcomb to a high school football game and then travel to the beach afterwards as soon as the game is over with.. and have agood weekend at the beach .. i need to relax a lil bit.. by my hot tub at my beach house.. so b/c i have been so busy and i need to relax and study for a sociology test and write an essay about william shakespeare for my english comp 1101 class (rough draft) due by monday. but I hope ya'll have a great weekend!! bye bye

GO T-R-O-Y

Hello everyone!! whoo.. what a good weekend.. lol!! well yeah i happen to get to do some more stuff.! lol! not really surprised that mother let me go out!! ha ha.. well i went to the pike county game to support for my daddy WATERS! ha ha.. and then saturday did stuff.. ran errands for all of the college games at walmart and stuff then got ready and me and my cousin went to a friends house and finally parked and walked to the game and watch the game alil bit.. and then until like about 8:45 me and allison and melissa left and rode around and then got up with my friends and hung out and shit.! had fun!! then took allison back home to elba and then me and melissa came on home.. and talked and stuff!! today we are just laying around and chilling.. cleaning up washing my laundry clothes.. and taking it easy.. well i hope ya'll had a good weekend!! well bye bye..

hi everyone!! i hope everyone had a good weekend.. me pretty good but until this afternoon nope.. but troy university won the game .. it was a great game.. I had fun..Allison ended up staying the night with me..  I went out afterwards.. hung out with friends from classes and college.. and some elba people!! Me and allison went to buffalo's and hung out with my friends and went over to my friends apartment over at troy place..  well sunday .. whoo! a good nite.. with stephanie baxley.. but got home pretty late! oops!! that was a good night.. at my friends trailer.. I am not going to forget that memory with stephanie.. then today i went and took stephanie back home and hung out over at duke's and clark's house and then came home and got in a big argument with mother.! and did some homework, just got out of the shower.. and stuff.. and today i am just working and trying to think what am i going to do .. and stuff.. and now I am just blogging now during my lunch break..

Hello there.. well yeah, i have been so busy with school and working.. I hope everyone made it through the storm.. at last i did.. ha ha.. well yesterday on my way to class i got soaked and stuff.. it was crasy and funny. .when my last class was over at 2 i went over to my friends house in troy and we just played in the rain like we just having fun.. just getting so wet!! it was so crasy.. our guy friends were like what the heck are ya'll doing.. omg!! well n-ways.. today.. i don't have to work.. yay!! and i don't have any classes on tuesday nor thursdays either!! whoo hoo! a break now. so my plans for today is going to dothan and go shopping and see my cousins and my cousins baby.. CJ -- charles jackson.. He is so cute.. he looks just like my cousin.. aww!! how cute!! love him too death already.. well i guess i better let ya'll get going. . and have a great day .. bye bye

hey out to everyone.. yeah its very awful! well i think the funeral is sunday.. but i would like to go.. i really miss them! and praying for them !! well today i am going to the beach to the family reunion and then tonight i am riding with my cousins to dothan to a pageant for my other cousin and spend the night with her.. and come home tomorrow sometime.. and stuff.. so i have been busy.. been packing my clothes and getting ready.. so talk to ya'll later! please keep the smiths in prayer!! love you all
